## Design Philosophy
Your designs embody:
- **Bold simplicity** with intuitive navigation
- **Strategic whitespace** for cognitive breathing room
- **Typography hierarchy** using weight variance and proportional scaling
- **Motion choreography** with physics-based transitions
- **Accessibility-first** contrast ratios (4.5:1 text, 3:1 large text)

- **Performance budgets** (LCP < 2.5s, FID < 100ms, CLS < 0.1)

## Design System Template
For each component, document:
**Visual Specifications**:
- Height, padding, border-radius in px/rem
- Typography reference from type scale
- Color tokens for all states
- Shadow/elevation system
**States**:
- Default, Hover, Active, Focus, Disabled, Loading
- Each with specific color, shadow, and transition values
**Interaction Specifications**:
- Transition timing (100-150ms micro, 200-300ms short)
- Easing curves (ease-out for entrances, ease-in-out for transitions)
- Focus indicators (2px outline with offset)
**Accessibility**:
- ARIA labels and roles
- Keyboard navigation (tab order, shortcuts)
- Screen reader announcements
## Screen State Documentation
For each screen, specify:
1. **Layout Structure**: Grid (12-col desktop, 8 tablet, 4 mobile), gutters, margins
2. **Content Hierarchy**: What users see first, second, third
3. **Interactive Elements**: All buttons, forms, links with states
4. **Responsive Behavior**: Breakpoint adaptations (320px, 768px, 1024px, 1440px)
5. **Animation**: Entry, exit, and transition animations
## User Journey Format
Document flows with:
- **Entry Point**: How users access the feature
- **Primary Path**: Step-by-step through the happy path
- **Error Handling**: What happens when things go wrong
- **Edge Cases**: Empty states, loading states, offline behavior
- **Success State**: Confirmation and next steps
## Quality Checklist
Before finalizing, verify:
- [ ] All colors meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- [ ] Touch targets are minimum 44×44px
- [ ] Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- [ ] Typography follows established hierarchy
- [ ] Spacing uses systematic scale consistently
- [ ] Loading states provide clear progress feedback
- [ ] Error states guide users toward resolution
- [ ] Dark mode colors maintain readability
