What this skill does
# Expert Secrets
> Apply Russell Brunson's framework to build a mass movement around expertise — charismatic leader positioning, new-opportunity offers, belief-breaking stories, and the Perfect Webinar structure.
## When to Use This Skill
- **Positioning as an expert** to monetize knowledge online
- **Creating an online course or coaching program** from expertise
- **Designing a webinar** that converts attendees into buyers
- **Building a tribe** with identity, cause, and rallying cry
- **Crafting origin stories** using the Epiphany Bridge formula
- **Packaging offers** with the Stack Slide technique
## Methodology Foundation
| Aspect | Details |
|--------|---------|
| **Source** | Russell Brunson — *Expert Secrets* (2017) |
| **Core Principle** | Every mass movement has three elements: a charismatic leader, a new opportunity (not improvement), and a future-based cause |
| **Key Insight** | People don't want to fix what's broken — they want a new vehicle for achieving their desires |
## What Claude Does vs What You Decide

## Instructions
### Part 1: Create Your Mass Movement
Three required elements:
**1. Charismatic Leader** — Choose your type:
- **The Leader** — Lead by example, demonstrate success (best when you've achieved results)
- **The Adventurer** — Take followers on a journey (best when discovering alongside audience)
- **The Reporter** — Bridge between experts and audience (best when newer but passionate)
**2. New Opportunity** — Design a vehicle switch, not an improvement offer:
- Identify the result your audience wants
- Identify their current vehicle (what they're doing now)
- Create your opportunity switch (new vehicle with a proprietary name)
- Key: "It's not about eating less, it's about eating right for YOUR metabolism"
**3. Future-Based Cause** — Unite the tribe:
- Create a rallying cry/slogan
- Name your tribe (e.g., "Funnel Hackers")
- Write an "I am ___" identity statement
- Design milestone awards for progress
### Part 2: Break False Beliefs
Find the **Big Domino** — the ONE belief that makes buying inevitable:
> "If I can make people believe that **[new opportunity]** is the key to **[desired result]** and is only available through **[my framework]**, then all other objections become irrelevant."
Then break three false belief patterns using Epiphany Bridge stories:
| Belief Type | What It Is | Story Structure |
|-------------|------------|-----------------|
| **Vehicle** | "This approach doesn't work" | Backstory → Wall → Epiphany → Transformation |
| **Internal** | "I can't do this" | Same structure, focused on self-doubt |
| **External** | "My circumstances prevent this" | Same structure, focused on obstacles |
### Part 3: Structure the Perfect Webinar
| Section | Duration | Content |
|---------|----------|---------|
| **Intro** | 5-10 min | Hook with promise, establish credibility, preview offer |
| **Secret #1** | 15-20 min | The One Thing — breaks Vehicle belief |
| **Secret #2** | 15-20 min | The Hidden Benefit — breaks Internal belief |
| **Secret #3** | 15-20 min | The New Opportunity — breaks External belief |
| **Stack & Close** | 20-30 min | Present Stack Slide, trial closes, urgency, CTA |
**Trial closes** throughout: "Can you see why this is important?" → "Can you see how this could work for you?" → Pattern of "yes" makes final purchase natural.
### Part 4: Build the Stack Slide
1. Define core offer
2. Add bonuses addressing each false belief
3. Add fast-action bonus
4. Assign value to each element (total should be 10x the price)
5. Reveal actual price after building full value
### Part 5: Design the Value Ladder
Package expertise at multiple price points:
| Level | Format | Fulfillment |
|-------|--------|-------------|
| Free | Content, lead magnet | DIY |
| $7-27 | Book | DIY |
| $97-997 | Online course | DIY |
| $997-2,997 | Group coaching | Do it with you |
| $10K+ | Mastermind / 1-on-1 | Done for you |
**Validation checkpoint:** Before building higher-tier offers, verify you have testimonials and case studies from lower tiers.
## Examples
### Example: Fitness Coach
- **Leader type:** Adventurer ("I was 50 lbs overweight, tried everything, until I discovered...")
- **New opportunity:** "The Metabolic Reset Method" (not "fix your diet")
- **Tribe:** "Reset Warriors"
- **Big Domino:** Hormone optimization → lasting weight loss → only through Metabolic Reset
- **Stack:** 12-Week Program ($1,997 value) + Hormone Guide ($297) + Meal Templates ($197) + Community ($497) + Kickoff Call ($297) = $3,285 value → Price: $497

## Skill Boundaries
### What This Skill Does Well
- Structuring expert positioning using Brunson's proven framework
- Designing new-opportunity offers that avoid the "improvement" trap
- Creating belief-breaking story sequences for webinars and launches
- Building Stack Slide offers with compelling value architecture
### What This Skill Cannot Do
- Validate market demand (use `mom-test` or `customer-discovery` first)
- Write final sales copy (use `copywriting-schwartz` or `landing-page-copy`)
- Handle technical webinar setup or platform selection
- Guarantee conversion rates — framework quality depends on input quality

contribute
IncludedLocal-only OSS contribution command center. Auto-refreshes the user's in-flight PR and issue state on invoke so conversations start with full context — no need to brief Claude on what's in flight. Helps the user find issues to contribute to on GitHub, builds per-repo dossiers of what each upstream expects (CLA, DCO, branch convention, AI policy, draft-first, review bots, issue templates), runs deterministic gates before any external action so AI-assisted contributions don't reach maintainers as slop. State is markdown-only: candidate files at ~/.contribute-system/candidates/, repo dossiers at ~/.contribute-system/research/, append-only event log at ~/.contribute-system/log.jsonl. No database, no cloud calls. Use when the user asks about their PRs / issues / contributions, wants to find new work to take on, claim an issue, build/refresh a repo's dossier, or draft a Design Issue or PR. Trigger with "/contribute", "what's my PR status", "find a contribution", "claim issue X", "draft a Design Issue for Y", "refresh dossier for Z".
architectural-analysis
IncludedUser-triggered deep architectural analysis of a codebase or scoped subtree across eight modes — information architecture, data flow, integration points, UI surfaces, interaction patterns, data model, control flow, and failure modes. This skill should be used when the user asks to "diagram this codebase," "map the architecture," "show the data flow," "give me an ERD," "trace control flow," "find the integration points," "verify the layout pattern," "audit the UX architecture," or any similar request whose primary deliverable is mermaid diagrams plus cited reports under docs/architecture/. Dispatches haiku/sonnet sub-agents in parallel for per-mode exploration, then verifies every citation mechanically before any node lands in a diagram. Not for one-off prose explanations of code (use code-explanation) or for high-level system design from scratch (use system-design).
mcp
IncludedModel Context Protocol (MCP) server development and tool management. Languages: Python, TypeScript. Capabilities: build MCP servers, integrate external APIs, discover/execute MCP tools, manage multi-server configs, design agent-centric tools. Actions: create, build, integrate, discover, execute, configure MCP servers/tools. Keywords: MCP, Model Context Protocol, MCP server, MCP tool, stdio transport, SSE transport, tool discovery, resource provider, prompt template, external API integration, Gemini CLI MCP, Claude MCP, agent tools, tool execution, server config. Use when: building MCP servers, integrating external APIs as MCP tools, discovering available MCP tools, executing MCP capabilities, configuring multi-server setups, designing tools for AI agents.
react-native-skia
IncludedDesign, build, debug, and optimise high-polish animated graphics in React Native or Expo using @shopify/react-native-skia, Reanimated, and Gesture Handler. Use when the user wants canvas-driven UI, shaders, paths, rich text, image filters, sprite fields, Skottie, video frames, snapshots, web CanvasKit setup, or performance tuning for custom motion-heavy elements such as loaders, hero art, cards, charts, progress indicators, particle systems, or gesture-driven surfaces. Also use when the user asks for fluid, glow, glass, blob, parallax, 60fps/120fps, or GPU-friendly animated effects in React Native, even if they do not explicitly say "Skia". Do not use for ordinary form/layout work with standard views.
plaid
IncludedProduct Led AI Development — guides founders from idea to launched product. Six capabilities: Idea (discover a product idea), Validate (pressure-test the idea against fatal flaws, problem reality, competition, and 2-week MVP feasibility), Plan (vision intake + document generation), Design (translate image references into a design.md spec), Launch (go-to-market strategy), and Build (roadmap execution). Use when someone says "PLAID", "plaid idea", "help me find an idea", "product idea", "idea from my business", "idea from my expertise", "plaid validate", "validate my idea", "pressure-test", "is this idea good", "find fatal flaws", "validate the problem", "plan a product", "define my vision", "generate a PRD", "product strategy", "plaid design", "design from image", "translate image to design", "create design.md", "extract design tokens", "plaid launch", "go-to-market", "launch plan", "GTM strategy", "launch playbook", "plaid build", "build the app", "start building", or "execute the roadmap".
nextjs-framer-motion-animations
IncludedAdds production-safe Motion for React or Framer Motion animations to Next.js apps, including reveal, hover and tap micro-interactions, whileInView, stagger, AnimatePresence, layout and layoutId transitions, reorder, scroll-linked UI, and lightweight route-content transitions. Use when the user asks to add, refactor, or debug Motion or Framer Motion in App Router or Pages Router codebases, especially around server/client boundaries, reduced motion, LazyMotion, bundle size, hydration, or route transitions. Avoid for GSAP-style timelines, WebGL or 3D scenes, heavy scroll storytelling, or CSS-only effects unless Motion is explicitly requested.
